The staff at reception was really nice and friendly. The Italian lady spoke Portuguese and was really nice explaining us about the hotel and the breakfast.
The room was really big with lots of space and a nice balcony.
There’s a lot of swimming pools all very nice and all for ourselves when we were there.
We walked to the village for dinner but got a taxi back to the hotel as the path is not good to walk at night and it takes around 20 minutes.
I really liked to stay at this hotel!

We had such a positive experience at this hotel that we decided to book it again for our last night in the Dominican Republic. The resort is peaceful, featuring saltwater pools, private sea access via a ladder, and crystal-clear waters. A special thanks to Elisabeth, who made us feel right at home and handled our requests with great flexibility and positivity. Breakfast is not a buffet but à la carte, with excellent quality. Amazing sunsets! The location is strategic for visiting Dominicus and Bayahibe. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Despite booking the penthouse, I encountered several unacceptable issues that made my stay far from enjoyable.
First and foremost, the service was poor. From check-in to check-out, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Upon entering the penthouse, I discovered there was no soap provided, which is a basic necessity that should never be overlooked. Additionally, there was mold in the shower, which is both unsanitary and unpleasant.
The rooms had a musty odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in, and to make matters worse, there were dead roaches scattered all over the floor. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that is supposed to offer a luxurious experience.
While the restaurant food was just okay, the wait time was ridiculous. It took over an hour for our meals to arrive, which is far too long, especially when the food is only mediocre at best.
Overall, I would not recommend to anyone. The numerous issues I encountered during my stay indicate a severe lack of attention to detail and poor management. Save your money and find a better place to stay.

They are rigid in terms of management (when we arrived earlier they didn't want us to wait in the hotel and after 3 hours of waiting in front of the hotel doors standing we were finally able to get in!) and the cleanliness of the rooms is not great and breakfast is not included whereas in the French overseas territory everything is included! Too bad because the site with its swimming pools is magnificent!

Beware of Penthouse 79- We knew upon arrival something was off. Long story short, the penthouse needed a lot of work and basically really made our trip horrible..They came in to try and fix things on our second day, leaking air conditioner, no hot water, light bulbs not working, cleaning not done, broken refrigerator, ANTS everywhere - couldn't even leave snacks on counter, Ants were all in the refrigerator ....it was just so many things. We complained twice and they acted like They never heard from us in the end. The grounds are nice and the beautiful pools and awesome bartenders but Penthouse 79 was in no condition to be rented and we believe they knew that and still rented the place to us. Because of that, we will not be returning or recommending. Piece of advice, Document Everything and have them provide you with proof when you complain because they will deny that you complained. If we could have left we would have. Lastly, they also advertise an Ocean view for Penthouse 79. There's no Ocean view, more of a peek of an Ocean and trees.... Good Luck. ...

The place is beautiful!! Food was delicious and great portions. Juan Francisco gave us an AMAZING service, he was extremely nice! Best service ever. My friends and i had an great time and very relaxing. The drinks were super good too. We really enjoyed our stay there.

JIAN, CARLOS, AND THE REST OF THE STAFF WERE INCREDIBLE! We stayed here for our friend’s wedding and they treated us with so much care and respect!!! The resort was clean and absolutely stunning, the wedding was beautiful! Our rooms were amazing and all the amenities were close by and accessible!! I’d recommend this establishment any day of the week!
